The ABC’s of Video Connectors

While audio connectors have not changed much over the years, there has been a fairly substantial shift over the past five years in the types of video and computer connectors used, both in the home and professionally.

For the past 15 years, the analog VGA (Video Graphics Adaptor) connector was the standard method of connecting a computer or similar high resolution device to a large screen display (i.e. projector or monitor). This is changing rapidly, as digital is replacing analog as the signal format of choice.
