Toronto not only played host to athletes from 41 Pan-American countries; the city also accommodated the Olympic committee representatives from each region. Working with the TO2015 Organizing Committee, Freeman Audio Visual Canada technically and logistically supported Pan/Parapan Am General Assemblies in Toronto since 2013, playing a vital role in ensuring all delegates were at the top of their game throughout the main event.

Pictured above is a photo from the Pan-American Sports Organization (PASO) General Assembly held one week before the start of the Pan Am games. Having taken place at the Westin Harbour Castle, the meeting involved 300 delegates, simultaneous interpretation services in three languages, and dual-language projection in English and Spanish.

During the span of the Pan AM games, from July 10 to 25, Freeman supported a wide range of meetings with AV and simultaneous interpretation services—from daily executive committee in-camera meetings to Sporting Federation and Sporting Observer meetings. Pictured left is the simultaneous interpretation section of the Main Press Room stationed at the Direct Energy Centre.

The Parapan Am games ran from August 7 to 15. In addition to several committee gatherings, Freeman supported the General Assembly with multi-language AV and simultaneous interpretation for 80 delegates at the Sheraton Centre, as well as the Chefs de Mission of the National Paralympic Committees (NPC) meetings at the Athlete’s Village.
